Sunshine Dolphins began in Doral as a community initiative within the Down Syndrome Association of Miami, created to give athletes with intellectual disabilities a space to learn, grow, and belong.
What began as a small inclusive program evolved into a high-performance team, with athletes representing their country at international championships and becoming National and World Champions.
Today, Sunshine Dolphins is bringing that program back to Doral with a new chapter focused on opportunity, inclusion, and belonging.
